About Luvdragons
Luvdragons began in 1994 in Rochester, NY. A small scale side business for Psychic Wendy James while she also worked in healthcare. Wendy began to get to know the bubbling local professional psychic community and began promoting many of the local psychics in that area on an experimental home made web page. Wendy left healthcare and became a full time psychic offering readings, teaching classes and working psychic fairs. She had a full time office at one local psychic establishment and a part time office at another. By that time the Luvdragons website was promoting 74 other psychics, holistic therapists, artisans and events in New York, Pennsylvania, Ohio and Canada.
In 2001 Wendy moved to Ontario Canada.
Once established in Canada, Wendy opened a small metaphysical shop in the SE side of Ottawa named Luvdragons, with up to 7 psychics, at it's peak. This shop offered classes, Reiki, meditation groups, local artists wares, goods and services, gifts, metaphysical things of all kinds, books, crystals and more. Wendy adapted Luvdragons business profile to also offer corporate entertainment services as employee perks and at large events as additional Luvdragons services. This service still remains a part of Luvdragons, all these years later, having aligned with several entertainment companies, corporations and organizations, both locally and long distance for decades, with honor and gratitude. Luvdragons home-made, peck and type, learn-as-you-go web site morphed once again to promote the local shop, its service providers, its psychics, local craftsmen and corporate services.
In 2008 Wendy closed the store and went back to working from a home office, much relieved, much less stressed, while also very grateful she had done it. Luvdragons public persona evolved once more to promote an amazing group of psychics, corporate events and classes.
All these years later some of the psychics who have worked with Wendy James and her company have gone their own amazing and successful ways, some have happily retired and sadly a few have passed away.
Now the base of Luvdragons has gone full circle and is back to where it all began, beautifully and with unlimited gratitude - Just Wendy James offering a few psychic services part-time on Tuesdays and Thursdays by phone or Zoom. AND, of course, still providing 1-13 professional, ethical, experienced fun psychics for corporate events anywhere in the world.
Luvdragons and Wendy have donated time and services to countless charities and charity events, have been on TV, news & radio shows, magazines, newspapers, won awards, worked many psychic fairs in both the United States and Canada. She has had 3 radio shows, written articles in 2 published books, provided witchy scenery for a movie set and done a 365 day LIVE gratitude journal in 2019-2020 that can be viewed on her YouTube page along with free classes, meditations and more. Her clients are all over the world and she believes they are, by far, the greatest!
Why is it named Luvdragons? "When I first made my company in 1994, I wanted to name it after something I loved. My dearest and closest friend (RIP) said to me. "Well, what do you love?" I responded by saying, "Gardening and dragons." and he said, "Then call it Luvdragons because Luvgardens just doesn't sound right for a psychic!" ~ W
